Adventurer Bear Grylls injured in Antarctica

Bear Grylls -- the snake eating bad-ass from Discovery's "Man vs. Wild" -- just busted up his shoulder during an Antarctic expedition.

The seriousness of the injury is still unknown, as the former member of British Special Ops awaits an official medical evaluation.

No word yet as to how soon they can release Bear back into the wild.


베어그릴즈가 남극 원정 중 어깨부상을 당했다고 한다.
아직은 공식적인 의학적 소견이 나오기 전이며 어느 정도 큰 부상인지는 아직 알려진 바가 없다고 한다.

"Bear has a strong religious faith and a loving family to help speed his recovery," Discovery said. "Our thoughts and prayers are with Bear as he makes the long trip back to the U.K."

디스커버리 관계자의 말
"베어의 강한 종교적 믿음과 사랑하는 가족들은 그의 빠른 회복에 도움이 될 것입니다."
"우리는 그가 영국으로 돌아가는 긴 여행을 하는 동안 그를 생각하고 기도할 겁니다".


The Antarctica expedition was raising money for Global Angels, an international charity that champions the needs of children. Grylls has supported the charity for the past few years.

이번 남극원정은 Global Angels란 국제 자선단체의 기금 모금을 위한 것이었다.
그릴즈는 지난 수년 동안 이 단체를 후원해 왔다.






아이고 어떻해요 흑흑
안그래도 늘 위험한 일만 골라하시는 분이라 조마조마했는데 이런 사고를 또 당하시다니
(특수부대에 계실때 낙하산 훈련중 큰 부상을 당하고 기적적으로 회복된 적도 있다고 알고 있는데 )
더구나 자선모금을 위한 원정에서 그런일을 당하셨다니 더 맘이 아프네요
얼른 회복하셔요 베어님...ㅠ.ㅜ
