Johnny Depp to play Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland
This is unofficial news (since it’s unconfirmed), but it makes total sense.
“He’s (Tim Burton) held out on doing Alice until he got a big enough budget. Now this film is financed by Disney so money won’t be a problem.”
The movie - which is scheduled for release in 2010 - will be the seventh time Depp and Burton have worked together.
They have previously collaborated on Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,Corpse Bride and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Burton loves to use Depp and Helena Bonham Carter in his films (Queen of Hearts anyone?)

팀버튼이 Alice( 이상한 나라의 앨리스)를 찍을것이라는 소식이다.
팀버튼은 오래전 부터 이 영화를 찍고 싶어했고 마침내 디즈니사의 자금으로 영화화가 가능하게됐다.
영화는2010년 개봉 예정으로 아마도조니뎁과 팀버튼이 함께하는 7번째 작업이 될것이다
조니뎁과 팀버튼은 이전에 가위손. 에드우드. 슬리피 할로우. 찰리와 초컬릿공장. 유령신부. 스위니 토드에서 함께 작업한 바 있다.
그는 아내 헬레나 본헴 카터와 조니뎁을 유난히 사랑하는 감독으로 알려져있다.
